This year sees a slight change of format with a move to a three day event starting in Taupo on Thursday the 17th May for documentation, scrutineering and Drivers briefing, followed by a Ceremonial Start and Parade around town. Friday morning departure heads south towards Waiouru for the morning stages with a lunch stop in Taihape before heading over the Gentle Annies to finished in Havelock North for the first of two nights. Saturday is a similar route to last years event with lunch and end of day in Havelock North. The local car club will also be joining us for the day in another standalone event. Sunday sees us travel south into the Central Hawkes Bay and Tararua Districits before returning to finish the event back in Havelock North. With a total of 480kms of closed road stages and just over 600kms of touring, this compact event has it all. With fabulous roads and amazing scenery supported by a local community that has so much to offer beyond the Motorsport activities, you will not want to miss it.
